The primary purpose of the PROGRAM ANALYST, GS-0343-9, is to serve as the analyst and consultant for the management and administrion of programs within the directore or division. Serves as key coordinion point for all program requirements. This work requires knowledge and skill in the applicion of reled laws, regulions, policies, acquisition, precedents, methods, and techniques of program and budget analysis and funds management. CALIFORNIA NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED

This is an excepted service position th requires membership in the California Nional Guard. Selectee required to wear the military uniform. AREA III

= Current military members of the Air Force/Army Nional Guard, Air Force/Army Reserve or Air Force/Army Active Duty. (Applicants who are currently in other Air/Army branches and NOT currently a member of the California Nional Guard (CNG) must become a member of a compible unit of assignment within the Army CNG commensure with the military grade listed in this announcement prior to federal assignment).

Military Grades:

E-3 through E-8 Must maintain approprie level of security clearance. May be required to successfully complete a one or two year trial period. Must wear approprie military uniform including required grooming standards. Must maintain a compible military unit, grade and job assignment as required by current directives. Participion in direct deposit is mandory.

THIS IS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

Level 2 Certified position designed as such in accordance with the Nional Defense Authorizion Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, section 1051, amending 10 United Stes Code, section 1599d. Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all DoD requirements of this certificion program. This requirement is a condition of employment for this position. Failure to obtain this certificion may subject the incumbent to adverse action.

Qualificions General Experience:

Must possess experience, educion, or training in administrive, professional, investigive, technical or other responsible work which demonstres analytical ability and a practical and theoretical knowledge of the functions, processes and principles of management; Experience using computer and automion systems.

Must have 1-year specialized experience, educion, or training equivalent to least the GS-07 level with experience, educion, or training which has provided applicion of practices, theories, techniques, and methods of management; Experience analyzing, interpreting, and developing policies and procedures of local management.
