Position Type:
Hourly and Temporary, Non-Exempt Position Summary The Program Coordinator provides support at the ORCC off-campus location for the Success Through Education Program. Duties and tasks include assisting with recruitment of students and pre and post student assessments. Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Schedule and conduct student assessments.
  • Verify GED or High School Diplomas and maintain assessment scores on spread sheets.
  • Maintain a candidates list for classes, meet with counselors and inmates, prepare drafts and final class lists.
  • Process class closure paperwork for AACC and ORCC.
  • Prepare the GED Classroom for GED Testing.
  • Register students to take the GED Test, conduct and proctor the GED Testing for ORCC, JRDC, and release students as well as retesting.
  • Maintain records for satisfactory and unsatisfactory test results.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum two years experience in teaching and/or administering adult education or youth education programs in a correctional setting.
