Job Description

Tobin School Westwood is seeking an Early Childhood Program Director Company Overview The Tobin School Westwood was founded in 1995, providing care for 60 children per day. We are a small program with 3 classrooms, School Day Pre Kindergarten (20 children, 3 teachers), Full Day Pre Kindergarten (2o children and 3 full-time teachers) and Full Day Junior Kindergarten(18 children and 3 full-time teachers). We are open year-round, Monday - Friday, 7:15am - 5:45pm and all children attend 5 days/week. We are licensed by the state of Massachusetts and are proudly accredited by NAEYC. Position We will be looking for a new Program Director to begin in the summer of 2026. Duties and Responsibilities Please submit letter of interest and resume for a detailed list of duties and responsibilities. Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (Masters in Education preferred)
  • Director 1 EEC Certified Required Skills
  • Highly proficient with all Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiar with or ability to learn Constant Contact
  • At least three years experience a Director at a licensed and accredited program
  • Extremely detailed and accuracy-oriented
  • Exceptional work ethic
  • Ability to create a warm, welcoming and positive culture
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others, collaborate and remain calm under pressure
  • Team-oriented player with a positive attitude and ability to work independently
  • Flexibility and willingness to assist teachers when needed
  • Comfortable receiving direction and providing others with direction
  • Warm, engaging personality with a focus on quality care for children
  • Self-motivated Compensation and Benefits This is a full-time salaried position.
Competitive salary range, commensurate with expertise and experience.
