Who are we looking for? Based in Wilmington, DE, the Program Manager will be working within a global team of R D scientists and Applications Engineers and in coordination with Business Unit leaders, Sales and Development partners, in the MicroMax business within the MacDermid Alpha Electronic Solutions (MAES) division of Element Solutions Inc (ESI). The Program Manager leads multiple interrelated projects and workstreams, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and successful delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives. This role is accountable for program-level performance, including execution, stakeholder alignment, and value realization, and operates with a high degree of autonomy.

What will you be doing? Program Execution & Delivery Lead and manage multiple projects within a defined program structure Ensure delivery of program objectives within scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets Identify and manage risks, issues, and interdependencies across projects Establish and maintain program plans, governance, and reporting structures Strategic Alignment Translate business strategy into actionable program plans and priorities Ensure all program initiatives align with enterprise and functional objectives Evaluate program performance against defined business cases and success metrics Support prioritization and resource allocation decisions Stakeholder Management Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders Facilitate alignment across teams and resolve conflicts effectively Communicate program status, risks, and key decisions to senior leadership Influence without authority across a matrixed organization Operational Excellence Establish and track KPIs, metrics, and program performance indicators Ensure consistency and rigor in project execution across the program Drive accountability for results across teams and stakeholders Balance execution priorities with long-term strategic outcomes Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and frameworks Drive adoption of best practices in program and project management Promote knowledge sharing and organizational learning Implement innovative solutions to complex delivery challenges Customer & Business Focus Ensure program outcomes deliver measurable business value Incorporate customer and stakeholder feedback into planning and execution Prioritize initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and strategic fit Scope & Impact Responsible for delivery of multiple, interconnected projects Direct impact on strategic initiatives and business outcomes Operates independently with accountability for program success Contributes to enterprise execution excellence and value delivery Leadership & Behaviors Demonstrates accountability, ownership, and integrity Builds trust and fosters collaboration across teams Coaches and mentors project managers and team members Champions continuous improvement and innovation Working Relationships Cross-functional teams (R D, Commercial, Operations, etc.) Senior leadership and executive stakeholders Project and portfolio management teams External partners and vendors (as applicable) Who are You? Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred Typically 10-15+ years of relevant experience PMP or equivalent certification preferred Strong strategic thinking and business acumen Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs Advanced stakeholder engagement and communication skills Experience in risk management, resource planning, and governance Data-driven decision-making and problem-solving ability Ability to influence and lead in a matrix environment What competencies will you need?
