--a subsidiary of Xin Point Holdings Ltd. Xin Point Holdings Limited is an international leader in the automotive plastics industry with a focus on the chrome plating of decorative trim. We are looking for a program manager to join our North American division based in Michigan, USA. Prior experience is required. Program Manager The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and can independently make decisions with the guidance & support of management. The candidate must possess considerable depth of knowledge in program management, engineering, quality or manufacturing field in automotive. The ability to travel domestically and internationally is required. This position is based in our North America headquarter in Michigan USA and the candidate will interact daily with our local and international team to ensure corporate business goals are achieved. Main Responsibilities Include but not Limited to:- You are responsible for leading the development, planning and execution of a portfolio of programs.
- Manage & coordinate the APQP process from concept through launch.
- Develop and manage detailed timing schedules to assure all key date requirements are satisfied.
- Early involving and evaluating the feasibility on new program introduction.
- Preparing schedules and resource allocation plans for multi-discipline resources, incorporating best practices in cost control, risk analysis and scheduling.
- Communicating with customer and making sure all applicable technical requirements are met.
- Applying knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to program activities to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations by continuous improvement.
- Compiling the operation instructions, APQP, PPAP, and PFMEA documents according to the requirements of programs and customers.
- Making decisions by coordinating with multiple functional teams on work methods and procedures within program scope.
- Liaison between marketing, tooling, molding, masking, plating, quality controlling groups and outside contractors.
- Managing and controlling programs to ensure that objectives are met in an economical and timely manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (Mechanical or Chemical Engineering degree preferred) with a minimum of 5 years experience in automotive industry.
- Experience with the technical and program management disciplines of engineering and manufacturing activities within the
IATF 16949
system.- Related work experience on tooling, molding, electroplating, and/or painting. Automotive exterior/interior decorative part work-experience is preferred.
- Ability to effectively manage and monitor progress of a portfolio of programs.
- A proven appreciation for and demonstrated capabilities in the application of advanced methods of data collection, data analysis, and program progress reporting.
- Knowledge and skills of MS office, AutoCAD (2D), UG, Pro-E, and/or CATIA (3D) design software.
- Broad knowledge of quality systems (ISO9001/TS16949/IATF16949), APQP, PPAP, VDA, FMEA, & capability studies
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast pace working environment.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork spirit.
- Bilingual of English and Chinese Mandarin is an asset.
