Job Description

Safe Residential Care supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living meaningful, independent lives within a supportive, family-oriented environment. We are currently seeking a compassionate, organized, and motivated Program Manager to oversee residential programs, support House Managers and DSP staff, and help ensure exceptional care for our residents. This leadership role is ideal for someone who values teamwork, accountability, and making a positive impact in the lives of others. About the Role The Program Manager is responsible for the daily operations of assigned residential programs. This position works closely with House Managers, Direct Support Professionals, guardians, medical providers, and agency leadership to maintain a safe, supportive, and structured environment for both residents and staff. Program Managers play a key role in staff development, quality assurance, scheduling oversight, communication, and ensuring compliance with agency and state standards. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with SRC Leadership, Direct Care Teams, and outside stakeholders to support residents and staff. Supervise, support, and mentor House Managers while promoting professional growth and accountability. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide program support when needed. Ensure residents receive quality care and support with medical, behavioral, and mental health needs. Assist House Managers and DSP staff with documentation requirements, including: Individual Service Plans (ISPs) Reportable Events and GERs Monthly Progress Notes Consumer finance audits Oversee implementation and tracking of resident goals and support plans. Maintain weekly staffing schedules while managing overtime and authorized program hours. Review and approve staff payroll submissions. Facilitate and participate in regular staff meetings and team communications. Maintain accurate documentation of staff supervision and meetings. Participate in employee evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary processes as needed. Support CRMA compliance and collaborate with the agency nurse to ensure residents' health and safety needs are met. Maintain regular communication with guardians and caseworkers. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, and/or mental health challenges. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong communication, organization, and time management skills. Professionalism, reliability, and sound judgment. Compassionate and person-centered approach to care and support. Commitment to community inclusion and independent living for individuals with disabilities. High School Diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree preferred. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance required. Working cell phone required.
CRMA, CPI, DSP
certification, and CPR/First Aid are preferred; training may be provided for qualified candidates.
