That's why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. As a Special Projects Workforce Development Program Manager, you will address the critical electrical and piping trade gaps directly impacting hyper-scale AI data center delivery. Guided by Google's three respects, you will respect the opportunity to transform regional workforce resource constraints into sustainable pathways for high-quality career advancement. You will own the strategic rollout of custom training programming and facilities, leverage your network for talent recruitment, localized upskilling pipelines, and craft support networks across the region. This role requires a mission-critical specialist with deep connection into crafts person pipelines, construction project knowledge, sophisticated data tracking capabilities, and a passion for solving complex, and large-scale industrial labor logistics. The AI and Infrastructure team is redefining what's possible. We empower Google customers with breakthrough capabilities and insights by delivering AI and Infrastructure at unparalleled scale, efficiency, reliability and velocity. Our customers include Googlers, Google Cloud customers, and billions of Google users worldwide. Responsibilities Build a sustainable, talent ecosystem by developing a workforce development framework that transforms regional challenges into pathways for high-quality career advancement. Scale recruiting and training initiatives to narrow critical pipe and electrical trade gaps through the establishment of physical, project-aligned upskilling programs. Serve as the consolidated point of contact connecting cross-functional teams, general contractors, and trade schools to align industry requirements and maximize local community impact. Partner with the craft to develop and execute a training labs and modules strategy, expanding workforce capabilities to support the safe execution of construction activities. Implement structured on-site mentorship and buddy programming to accelerate knowledge transfer, support craft labor, and reinforce peer-to-peer safety standards.
