Program Manager (Direct Hire)

Serves as a Project Manager within the Engineering and Test Directorate, providing project direction, establishing project management standards, and leading multidisciplinary teams in the planning, execution, and financial oversight of propulsion test projects and other mission-enabling initiatives across the directorate.

Qualifications:

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. To qualify for GS-13 , you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level: Supporting project planning and execution by coordinating technical and administrative activities related to schedules, resources, and project tasks; Assisting with budget and financial tracking by monitoring costs, preparing financial information, and ensuring alignment with established plans; Preparing and communicating project status, including technical progress, financial information, and key actions, to stakeholders to support project objectives. To qualify for GS-14 , you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level: Leading project or program planning and execution, including directing technical and administrative activities related to schedules, resources, and priorities; Managing project or program budgets by planning, tracking, and adjusting financial resources to support objectives and organizational priorities; Communicating project or program status, including technical issues, financial impacts, and risks, to leadership and stakeholders to support decision-making.
