Job Description

Description Join Amazon's Global Logistics team to optimize drayage operations and drive meaningful impact across our international supply chain. You'll lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance capacity planning, reduce costs, and accelerate delivery speeds while collaborating with internal teams and external logistics partners to solve complex operational challenges. Key job responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee various cross-functional programs, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Develop and refine program strategies, effectively leading and motivating teams.
  • Set clear objectives for programs, leveraging data analytics to drive improvements and achieve metrics.
  • Navigate and resolve ambiguities in business scenarios, applying creative problem-solving skills.
  • Foster collaboration with internal and external partners to optimize resource allocation and project success.
  • Evaluate and prioritize projects in conjunction with customer needs and technical team inputs.
  • Bridge gaps in team dynamics, processes, and systems, preventing common project pitfalls.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, preventing them from escalating into major issues.
  • Regularly communicate with senior managers, business leaders, and other stakeholders to support key business initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee KPI reporting for a program portfolio, ensuring clear visibility of milestones and project performance.
  • Manage and communicate project budgets effectively.
A day in the life Your day typically involves analyzing port-to-FC performance data, coordinating with drayage providers to optimize capacity utilization, and working with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges. You'll manage daily volume planning, track key metrics, and develop strategies to improve speed and cost efficiency in our drayage operations. About the team Our Global Logistics team is dedicated to optimizing the movement of products across international borders, ensuring customers receive their items quickly and cost-effectively. We focus on innovation and continuous improvement, leveraging technology and world-class logistics partnerships to enhance the customer experience. You'll join a diverse team of problem-solvers who are passionate about transforming global commerce. Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics
  • 4+ years of program or project management experience
  • 4+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • 4+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 4+ years of carrier management experience Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • 5+ years of developing program strategies and plans, diving execution, and influencing senior stakeholders experience

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
