Position is contract with an expected duration of 12 months. This position has the potential to convert to permanent status based on business need at a future date; however, this is not guaranteed. Overview We are seeking a highly organized, adaptable, and detail?focused Management Assistant to support the Procurement Tariff Team within a Tier?1 automotive supplier environment. This role supports tariff?related documentation, supplier invoice review activities, and team coordination in an industry where OEM requirements and global supply chain shifts frequently impact component pricing and import duties. The ideal candidate will excel at multitasking, documenting new processes, and managing deadline?driven priorities in a fast?evolving automotive landscape.Key Responsibilities:
Provide day?to?day executive administrative support to the Procurement Tariff Team, including scheduling, coordinating cross?functional communications, and supporting team workflow needs. Assist with organizing, preparing, and maintaining tariff?related documentation for imported components, raw materials, tooling, and assemblies supplied to OEM customers. Support tariff invoice review processes by gathering supplier documentation, cost breakdowns, logistics data, and import?related details common to Tier?1 operations. Develop, document, and refine processes, SOPs, and workflow tools that support tariff compliance, invoice accuracy, and supply chain traceability-ensuring Tier?1 alignment with OEM audit expectations. Coordinate meetings with cross?functional partners including Purchasing, Costing, Engineering, Logistics, Operations, Finance, and Accounts Payable. Prepare agendas, capture action items, and ensure timely follow?up while maintaining full visibility for leadership and team members. Maintain organized digital records and structured repositories for tariff documents, supplier communications, and compliance?related files. Draft internal communications, summaries, and updates to keep stakeholders informed of tariff changes, supplier issues, or invoice discrepancies. Manage multiple tasks and shifting deadlines driven by engineering changes, new program launches, volume adjustments, and production requirements. Support coordination between global suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of import? or tariff?related inquiries.Required Skills & Qualifications Strong Multitasking & Prioritization:
Ability to manage numerous time?sensitive activities in a fast?paced Tier?1 manufacturing environment.Process Development & Documentation:
Skilled in creating and refining procedures, workflow documentation, SOPs, and audit?ready process materials.Administrative Excellence:

Exceptional accuracy when reviewing supplier documentation, cost details, tariff inputs, and invoice information.Communication Skills:
Clear, professional written and verbal communication for internal coordination and supplier interactions. Cross?Functional Collaboration:
Ability to work with Purchasing, Engineering, Logistics, Operations, Finance, Accounts Payable, and global suppliers.Technical Proficiency:
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word) and comfort working with procurement systems, ERP data, or supplier portals.Adaptability:
Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities related to OEM demands, engineering changes, and supply chain disruptions. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a Tier?1 automotive supplier environment or supporting OEM-facing operations. Familiarity with automotive components, BOM structures, engineering changes (ECR/ECN), import documentation, or tariff classifications. Experience supporting AP workflows, supplier cost validation, or invoice discrepancy resolution. Experience building or maintaining databases or structured spreadsheets for tracking tariff charges, supplier metrics, or cost impacts.
