We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team in coordinating inspections for third party attachments on utility assets. Our team plays a vital role in ensuring compliance, safety, and regulatory alignment across post-construction and special inspection programs.Responsibilities:
Oversee, coordinate, and track special and post-construction inspections for third party applications on distribution and sub-transmission assets. Facilitate communication with customers, approved vendors, internal and external engineering teams, and joint pole owners regarding inspection processes and remediation efforts. Develop and manage inspection-related data, software, and trackers while assisting in regulatory reporting and ensuring accurate billing and invoicing processes. Develop and monitor key performance indicators, support policy and procedure updates, and assist with asset and business strategies relating to inspections within the jurisdiction.Required:
Associate degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Management / Technology, or demonstrated equivalent experience (1-3 years qualifying experience accepted). Developing knowledge of applicable OSHA, NEC/NESC, and relevant standards, with the ability to interpret contracts, orders, technical information, and engineering drawings. Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word; experience with Access, Visio, and familiarity with Power BI or Tableau beneficial. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with an understanding of process improvement techniques and data management for decision support.About SSI People:
