Job Description
Key Responsibilities Subcontractor Coordination:
Schedule, communicate with, and manage subcontractors to ensure timely arrival, proper scope execution, and compliance with project requirements and safety standards.Job Progress Tracking:
Monitor and document daily job completion status across multiple jobsites. Provide accurate, real-time updates to Project Managers and leadership.Jobsite Inspections:
Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality, safety compliance, restoration progress, structure completion, and overall project execution. Identify and resolve issues promptly.Equipment & Cleanliness Standards:
Perform routine inspections of company trucks, trailers, and drilling equipment. Enforce high standards for cleanliness, organization, and maintenance.Financial Tracking:
Track job costs, subcontractor invoices, and overall project invoice totals. Work closely with accounting to ensure accurate and timely billing.Multi-Project Oversight:
Maintain strong situational awareness of all active and upcoming jobsites, anticipating needs, risks, and bottlenecks.Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain organized project files, daily reports, photos, and as-built documentation. Prepare weekly status updates for management.Issue Resolution:
Serve as a field-level problem solver, addressing logistical, permitting, or coordination challenges quickly and effectively.Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all work performed meets company safety policies, client requirements, and industry regulations. Qualifications & Requirements Strong understanding of horizontal directional drilling (HDD) operations is a significant plus. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and subcontractors simultaneously. Excellent organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written). Proficiency with project management tools, spreadsheets (Excel), and basic construction software. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Willingness to travel regularly between jobsites. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and walk/stand for extended periods on active construction sites. Preferred Skills Experience in fiber optic or telecommunications construction. Knowledge of permitting processes and utility coordination. Familiarity with drilling fluids, bore tracking, and restoration best practices. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
