Job Description
Overview The Project Development Specialist will seek out high growth potential accounts within the Performance Parts customer base that are currently underserved. This position will initiate stronger relationships with identified accounts in both the US and Canada through strategic engagement in order to maximize parts spend to a "best customer" level. In addition, the Project Development Specialist will seek out new opportunities to expand the product and service offerings provided by Performance Parts. Responsibilities Generates viable sales leads and prospects through market and account research, networking, sales and vendor events. Develops, executes and communicates business plans for profitably growing sales of assigned client categories. Provides market and competitor information to appropriate channel within the company. Accountable for attaining assigned sales quota, part margin and controllable expense objectives. Establish business relationships with end users and OEMs

Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree plus 8+ years applicable experience (Sales, Marketing, Business, Finance or HVAC/R field preferred) In lieu of degree 12+ years of progressive sales and or account management experience will be required Experience working with senior level procurement and purchasing managers Ability to travel up to 50% Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Familiarity with Microsoft CRM and Oracle Meet growth goals for target customer group Preferred Skills General refrigeration knowledge and or familiarity with Hussmann products and services. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and conflicting priorities. Exceptional attention to detail and time management. Be team oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be self-starter with ability to identify & execute business needs with minimal direction or assistance. Strong motivational, organizational, interpersonal, presentation, written and oral communication, skills. Excellent relationship building skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and collaborate with internal and external team players to create solutions to meet those needs.
