As a Security Systems Project Manager, you will champion the delivery of robust electronic security solutions for a variety of high-profile clients in the Pittsburgh area.

Responsibilities:

Oversee end-to-end management of electronic security system projects, from initial design to final handover. Coordinate installation, integration, and maintenance of access control, CCTV/IP video, surveillance, and intrusion detection systems. Act as the primary liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal technical teams, ensuring strong communication throughout project lifecycles. Manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring deadlines and financial objectives are met. Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. Conduct site visits and project progress checks across diverse environments, including commercial, retail, education, government, and healthcare settings. Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues efficiently to maintain client satisfaction. Prepare regular status reports and documentation to track project milestones and outcomes.

Must-Have Skills:

Proven experience managing security system projects, including access control, surveillance, and intrusion detection technologies. Strong project management skills with experience delivering projects on time and within budget. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Technical aptitude for integrating electronic security systems. Experience across multiple environments such as commercial, retail, education, government, or healthcare.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent. Experience with large-scale or high-security environments such as stadiums, arenas, or critical infrastructure. Familiarity with federal, state, or local security and safety regulations. Hands-on technical background in electronic or physical security solutions. Experience working with subcontractors or overseeing field installation teams.
