Project Manager

Kawika's Painting, Inc. is seeking an experienced, high-performing Project Manager to join our 'ohana. We are a premier, family-owned commercial contractor that has been proudly doing business in Hawaii for over 40 years. We specialize in complete exterior commercial building renovations, including painting, waterproofing, sealants, concrete spall repair, carpentry, and fluid-applied roofing. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall execution, management, and financial success of our commercial renovation projects from handover to completion.

Pay Range:

$35 - $50 per hour

Oahu, Hawaii Job Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage multiple commercial renovation projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, property managers, AOAO boards, and engineers, maintaining excellent professional relationships. Manage project financials, including tracking labor hours, processing change orders, monitoring material costs, and ensuring accurate billing. Collaborate closely with Foremen to schedule labor, review daily job reports, and ensure quality control. Procure materials, equipment, and specialty subcontractors required for project execution. Enforce rigorous job site safety standards in compliance with OSHA and company policies.

Applicant Qualifications:

Experience:

5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, exterior renovation, painting, or concrete restoration (Highly Preferred).

Technical Skills:

Ability to read blueprints, understand architectural specifications, track project schedules, and manage budgets.

License:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (Required).

Screening:

Must be drug-free and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Computer Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and project management software.

Communication:

Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
