Medical, dental, vision Sterling Engineering is looking for a Project Manager•Municipal / Transportation Engineering. This opportunity is with a collaborative engineering firm supporting public infrastructure projects.Job Duties:
Lead planning, design, and delivery of municipal and transportation engineering projects from concept through construction. Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, municipalities, regulatory agencies, and contractors. Prepare and review technical reports, plans, and specifications. Oversee permitting, public engagement, and regulatory compliance. Perform and review hydrology and hydraulic (H&H) modeling for sanitary, storm, and combined sewer systems. Develop Location Drainage Studies or Technical Memoranda for federally or state-funded projects. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff. Support business development through proposals and client presentations. Actively participate in both design and construction phases of projects.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. 5-10 years of municipal and/or transportation engineering project management experience. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months. Experience with roadway, stormwater, sanitary utility, water/wastewater, and infrastructure improvements. Familiarity with H&H modeling tools such as PCSWWM, Hydroflow, or similar. Strong understanding of permitting processes and municipal standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
