Job Description
Project Manager•Commercial Roofing & Sheet Metal
ELEMENT SYSTEMS, LLC
•5.0 Wheat Ridge, CO Job Details $72,000•$115,000 a year 2 hours ago Benefits Dental insurance Vision insurance Qualifications Roofing Full Job Description Element Systems is looking for a strong commercial roofing Project Manager to help lead our production team as we continue to grow. We are a female and minority-owned commercial roofing and exterior systems company based in Colorado. We are owner-led, team-driven, and built for the long haul. There is no private equity group, venture capital firm, or corporate board calling the shots. The people building the company are still directly involved in the business every day. We work in commercial roofing, multi-family, public-sector, government, architectural sheet metal, and wall panel projects. ACM, MCM, insulated wall panels, and related exterior systems are a growing part of our business, and we need people who understand that side of the work or are strong enough technically to help us keep building it. Element Systems is in a major growth chapter. We are actively pursuing 8(a) and HUBZone status this year, and we are moving into a new property in Arvada at the end of the year with a strong office space, better infrastructure, and room for the next version of the company. We have a family-style environment, but we are serious about systems, accountability, and doing good work. Compensation will be based on experience, capability, and fit for the role. Bonus opportunities are available, along with healthcare, retirement, dental, and vision benefits. For the right person, this is a serious seat with real responsibility and room to grow. This is not a remote position, and it is not an entry-level coordinator role. We need someone who has been in commercial roofing, understands how projects actually get built, and can take ownership once a job is sold and estimated. At Element, estimating estimates. Sales closes. Production delivers. The Project Manager is the person who picks up the job after handoff and runs with it alongside the Field Manager. They keep the project organized, scheduled, documented, communicated, budgeted, and moving forward. The Project Manager is the quarterback for our production projects. This person manages communication with customers, general contractors, owners, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, crews, and internal leadership. They stay on top of schedules, submittals, change orders, project documentation, budgets, field photos, closeout packages, and the day-to-day details that keep projects from getting sideways. We use Microsoft Teams, Planner, Microsoft Office, QuickBooks Projects, Centerpoint, and CompanyCam to keep projects organized, documented, and moving. You do not need to know every system on day one, but you need to be organized, tech-capable, and willing to use the tools. If everything lives in your head and nowhere else, this is not the right fit. Experience in commercial flat roofing is required. Architectural sheet metal experience is strongly preferred. Experience with wall panel systems, including ACM, MCM, insulated wall panels, and related exterior cladding systems, is also strongly preferred. Experience with schools, municipalities, public properties, federal work, DOD, GSA, or similar controlled-access projects is a major plus. Familiarity with The EDGE estimating software is helpful, but this is not an estimating position. We need someone who can work with field people, office people, customers, and ownership without needing constant hand-holding. Someone who can walk a roof or a wall panel project, understand what is happening, see problems coming, document properly, communicate clearly, and keep pushing the job forward. The buck stops with them. As we grow, there will likely be more than one Project Manager. Right now, this person helps set the standard. That is the opportunity. If you are a commercial roofing Project Manager, Production Manager, Superintendent, or field-minded operator who is ready for a bigger role with more ownership, we should talk.
