Project Manager

Description We are looking for a Project Manager to support warehouse-based HVAC project activities in Manteno, Illinois. This Contract position focuses on coordinating equipment intake, confirming inventory accuracy, supporting installation readiness, and keeping project work aligned across teams. The person in this role will serve as a central point of coordination for daily operations and provide clear progress updates to the offsite Project Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the receipt of incoming equipment shipments and confirm items match delivery documentation and project expectations.
• Review and validate inventory counts to help maintain accurate warehouse records and support project readiness.
• Coordinate installation training activities and ensure teams are prepared with the information and materials needed for successful execution.
• Support parts-related needs by tracking requests, helping organize availability, and assisting with timely follow-up.
• Lead day-to-day coordination of team activities to keep work organized, efficient, and aligned with project schedules.
• Communicate project status, operational updates, and any issues requiring attention to the offsite Project Manager.
• Work across warehouse and project stakeholders to maintain smooth execution without performing hands-on installation work.

The salary range for this position is $27/hr. to $28/hr.. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. • At least 2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a closely related operational leadership role.
• Prior experience working in a warehouse environment with responsibility for inventory, shipping, receiving, or materials coordination.
• Strong ability to organize teams, track multiple moving parts, and maintain progress across cross-functional activities.
• Clear communication skills with the ability to provide timely updates and escalate issues appropriately.
• Familiarity with HVAC equipment, terminology, or related operations is highly preferred.
• Experience with warehouse inventory or warehouse management processes is required.
• Ability to work in a non-hands-on coordination role focused on oversight, communication, and execution support.
