Job Description

Job Purpose As a Product Manager at Leinco, your primary purpose is to drive the development, commercial success, and growth of our extensive catalog business, specifically focusing on antibodies, antigens (recombinant proteins), specialty buffers, and life science kits . You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including onsite manufacturing scientists, engineers, and marketing professionals—to define product strategies, oversee product lifecycles, and ensure our catalog meets the evolving needs of the global scientific research community.
Primary Responsibilities Catalog Strategy & Planning:
Formulate and define short- and long-range plans, goals, and unique value propositions for the antibody, protein, and buffer portfolios.
Product Development & Commercialization:
Lead commercialization efforts by executing corporate strategies for target segments, developing value propositions, and creating sales enablement tools for the catalog business.
Manufacturing & Marketing Integration:
Work directly with onsite St. Louis manufacturing and marketing teams to ensure product availability, quality alignment, and effective campaign execution.
Roadmap Planning:
Create and maintain a product roadmap for new catalog additions, including recombinant proteins and specialized kits, outlining future enhancements and launch timelines. Voice of Customer (VOC): Launch VOC efforts to gain deep insights into customer applications for antibodies and buffers to determine in-licensing priorities and pricing requirements.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
Act as the central hub between R D, production planners, customer support, and sales to ensure total alignment on catalog goals. Launch & Marketing (5-Step Plan): Plan and execute product launches using the 5-Step Launch Plan, working with marketing to create datasheets, promotional materials, and sales training for the catalog.
Prioritization & Business Health:
Prioritize catalog launches based on business case scores and market demand; define and monitor KPIs to optimize the health of the commercial product line.
Brand Ambassador:
Represent the Leinco catalog at key tradeshows and networking events, providing technical support to the sales and marketing teams.
Qualifications Experience:
Two or more years of Product Management experience required, specifically with a focus on antibodies and proteins .
Technical Background:
Two or more years of lab experience involving antibody techniques is required.
Education:
B.S. in Biochemistry or a related field; M.S. preferred .
Location Requirement:
Must be a local resident of St. Louis, MO , or be willing to relocate to work directly with our manufacturing and marketing facilities.
Soft Skills:
Must be a self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
Leadership:
Proven history of collaboration with commercial and R D teams, with strong cross-functional leadership abilities.
Project Management:
Demonstrated experience in project and/or program management.
Mobility:
Ability to travel as needed for tradeshows and customer engagement.

Our commercial team goals are dynamic; the Product Manager plays a crucial role in remaining flexible to ensure products meet customer needs while aligning with company objectives.
Position Reports To:
President of Commercial Operations.
Location:
St. Louis, MO (Local or willing to relocate) — Essential for onsite collaboration with manufacturing and marketing teams.
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
