Job Description:

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead complex technical projects across multiple energy generation sites in North and South Carolina. This role focuses on combustion turbine upgrades, coal generation maintenance, and civil infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, or controls engineering and a proven track record managing high-stress, high-load technical projects. Lead and manage Centerline Projects involving turbine majors, combustion turbine upgrades, and steam turbine overhauls. Oversee coal bunker relining, wastewater treatment skid installations, and other civil-based infrastructure projects. Coordinate with station personnel Manage project milestones are met on time and within budget. Maintain strong communication with site teams and stakeholders. Travel frequently to project sites (50% travel expected).

Must Haves:

5+ years of project management experience, ideally in power generation or heavy industrial settings. Experience with combustion turbines, steam turbines, and coal generation systems. Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple high-pressure projects simultaneously. Power Plant/Utilities experience Candidates must be comfortable with frequent travel and working in field environments.

Plusses:

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls preferred). Duke Energy experience
