Project Manager - Sitework /
This role is ideal for a Project Manager who understands sitework from the ground up, including production, quantities, trucking, materials, sequencing, and cost impacts, and can manage that work from an office-based project management position. While the role is not field-supervisory, success requires a strong working knowledge of what is happening on site at all times.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage excavation and site preparation projects from award through completionOwn project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and cost-to-complete analysisTrack daily and weekly quantities, production, trucking, and material flowCoordinate closely with field leadership to stay aligned on progress and conditionsReview plans, specifications, and scopes with a focus on earthwork and civil site operationsManage subcontractors, vendors, purchase orders, and material procurementHandle project billing, change management, and documentationIdentify risks, scope changes, and productivity impacts and take proactive actionServe as the primary internal owner of project performance and financial resultsIdeal BackgroundProven experience in excavation, sitework, earthwork, or heavy civil constructionCareer path that includes hands-on site exposure (such as foreman, superintendent, or similar field roles) followed by project management responsibilitiesStrong understanding of quantities, materials, trucking, production rates, and sequencingComfortable performing quantity-based math and detailed cost analysisStrong spreadsheet and project‑tracking skillsOrganized, decisive, and able to manage multiple moving parts under tight timelinesWork Environment & CultureFully office-based role with close connection to active job sitesFast-paced, execution-focused environment with high accountabilityStable organization with a strong reputation and consistent backlog of workTeam-oriented culture that values practical problem-solving, reliability, and follow-throughIf you are interested in this opportunity please don't hesitate to apply!
