In this position, you will develop new and potential accounts, primarily in the greater Boston area. The primary focus and goal for this sales professional is to develop and win projects directly through end users or contractor partners. Most of this work will be through a construction event including new out of the ground or an expansion/renovation to an existing site. Compensation commensurate with experience, in the range of $100,000-$135,000 base, plus performance-based commissions, generous car and cell phone allowance, laptop, company healthcare benefits, and 401K. Sign-on bonus will be considered. What You'll Do to
Be Successful:
Proactively seek out new business opportunities by conducting prospecting activities to perspective customers and networking to secure first appointments with contractors, engineers, and existing building owners at the decision maker level. Develop risk-mitigation strategies to assist clients in budgeting for lifecycle projects by eliminating costly emergency service calls. Develop and present pricing options for service and planned maintenance agreements and assist in budgeting for future programs. Develop and maintain strong business partnerships with the purpose of gaining the client's trust, meeting their objectives, and delivering value added solutions. Build financial and life cycle analysis with our tools, to quantify value from the client's perspective. Generate and deliver impactful proposals with professional executive level presentations that lead to signed contracts. Participate in sales and industry training and converting that training to sales results. Coordinate and cooperate with other member of the operations and sales team in the branch location to ensure the customer's needs are achieved. Understanding of applicable codes and satisfy project specific NICET requirements specific to project. Track all sales activities in companyCRM Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. 3+ years of sales experience related to fire suppression, fire alarm, and life safety equipment required in the commercial markets. Technical expertise or aptitude is required in any/or all facets of the Electronic Fire Alarm industry. Sprinkler and fire suppression systems knowledge a plus. Ability to communicate and present effectively to groups at all levels including executive. Leadership of customer engagements along with the desire, ability, and skills to manage the entire sales cycle. Proven ability to build relationships with existing clients to maintain present sales and to facilitate add-on business and services. Ability to collaborate with other individuals, departments, and teams. Strong ability to write compelling, detailed sales proposals. Must be well organized and able to handle multiple proposals and processes simultaneously. Motivated to grow professionally, personally, and financially.
