Hiring:
Property Onboarding Specialist | Georgia/South Carolina areas | 95% Travel Schedule Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm and as needed Position Duties and Responsibilities Essential Functions Leadership, Coaching, and Mentoring Provide oversight, guidance, and support to the Community Staff and Regional Managers while onboarding new and existing communities. Overseeing and guiding the leasing team to ensure the property goals are met. Promote a culture whereby CMI delivers the highest level of service and professional appearance to internal/external partners while adhering to CMI's Core Values. Responsibilities Creating and implementing action plans for onboarding new and existing communities. Develop and implement marketing incentives to establish and grow communities. Oversee and manage all aspects of the lease-up for a new community, from the initial stages to the final site audit. Tracking, reporting and follow-up with owners and agencies as needed. Establish an in-depth understanding of the property and gain knowledge of the competitive landscape within the market. Additional Responsibilities Perform other related duties as requested or assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required Minimum Learned Skills and Abilities Requirements Knowledge of local, state, and federal program requirements and procedures to include, but not limited to, USDA RD, HUD and LIHTC Program compliance. Proven ability to formulate, document, and implement formal policies and procedures. Proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent responsibilities and adapt to constantly changing priorities to meet established timelines. Proven ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written). Proven ability to demonstrate intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office. Proven ability to coach, lead, and supervise multiple Direct Reports. Comprehensive knowledge of the Fair Housing Amendments Act of 1988, Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1974, and Landlord/Tenant Laws. B. Minimum Work/leadership Experience A proven track record of (5) years of responsible leadership that is relevant to recruitment, personnel development, training, and problem solving. C. Significant Physical Position Requirement Physical effort, associated with walking new construction projects and field visits to monitor interior and exterior of the physical asset. This position requires the ability to travel to sites and attend occasional meetings, seminars, and other work-related functions within local and long distances from their home office. D. Work Environment This position is based out of the Onboarding Specialist's home office. Travel will be by automobile and is required for at least 75% of this position. Many objectives require working on-site at various locations potentially lasting several weeks at a time. E. Telecommunications, Information Technology, and Office Equipment Used Typical office equipment includes, but not limited to, desktop workstations and laptops utilizing a Windows-based environment. Software consists of programs offered in Microsoft Office, as well as a customized database and a variety of web-based applications.
