P.S. Fire Apparatus Driver/Operator

The City of Aiken Department of Public Safety is accepting applications for a Public Safety Fire Apparatus Driver/Operator. Performs general fire and rescue duties to protect life and property Exercises sound judgment in performing driver/operator duties, fire suppression, and medical first responder tasks Operates and performs various maintenance duties on fire and rescue vehicles and equipment Must have a valid S.C. driver's license High school diploma or equivalent is required and one (1) year of fire or related experience NFPA Firefighter Certification is preferred This position is subject to a criminal background check for any convictions directly related to its duties and responsibilities.
