Job Overview:

We are actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric RN to join our Behavioral Health team. As a Psychiatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to patients with mental health and psychiatric disorders in a supportive and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform assessments and monitor the physical and mental health of patients. Develop and implement individualized care plans. Administer medications and monitor for side effects or adverse reactions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and social workers. Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and coping strategies. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility protocols. Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.

Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in [State]. BSN or ADN from an accredited nursing program. Minimum 1+ year of experience in psychiatric, mental health, or behavioral health nursing. BLS/CPR Certification (required). Strong communication, critical thinking, and crisis management skills. Experience in inpatient psychiatric units or behavioral health facilities is a plus.

Pay:

$30.00 - $32.00 per hour
