Psychiatric Nurse

We are a new mental health care facility in Weatherford, looking for a full time RN. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine care needs. Administer medications and injections with precision, medication management aligned with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Conduct diagnostic evaluations such as laboratory specimen collection/processing, phlebotomy, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and wound suturing when necessary. Collaborate with other teams for complete patient care regarding medication management. Support patients' emotional well-being through health coaching and coping mechanisms. Skills Extensive experience with EMR/EHR systems for efficient documentation. Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology to accurately assess patient conditions and communicate effectively with healthcare teams. Experience working in long-term care facilities is preferred but not required. Excellent patient assessment skills combined with a compassionate approach to a behavioral health population.
