Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

CareNow is currently seeking Advanced Practice Registered Nurses with Psychiatric Specialty for contract or employment opportunities. CareNow Services is offering an excellent opportunity, and supportive clinical team for a qualified APRN with Psychiatric Specialty who has skills working with older adults. CareNow Services is the largest provider in Georgia of comprehensive onsite psychiatric consultation and behavioral health services to the Long Term Care setting. Our Nurse Practitioners provide residents of nursing homes initial consultation for medication management, ongoing management of psychiatric medications, individual therapy as appropriate and consult with nurses, pharmacists and attending physicians as needed. You will have a supportive clinical team around you and backup from our Medical Director consistently. We offer a flexible weekday schedule at facilities that are often convenient to where you live, plus reimbursement incentives for those who will travel in the state. Master's degree in nursing with psychiatric specialization from an accredited institution, and a certificate as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Practitioner in Georgia. Geriatric experience is preferred, but not required. Day travel at intervals. Excellent communication and organizational skills
