Position Details:

The Psychiatric Technician II ensures the safety and well-being of residents in the Residential Program, with a focus on therapy and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead psycho-educational groups to foster peer interaction, problem-solving, and treatment goal achievement. Assist residents in building life skills for independent living. Maintain accurate documentation and follow all reporting requirements. Support residents with household tasks and teach essential daily living skills (e.g., hygiene, time management). Provide crisis intervention when necessary. Contribute to a therapeutic environment that encourages personal growth, with opportunities for advancement within the program. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in psychology or related human service field required. Minimum one year experience in a related field, knowledge and understanding of severe mental illness, recovery principles and recovery driven service system required.• Valid Driver's License required.• All Clearances required by OMHSAS.
