Job Description

Psychiatrist Monte Nido Miami Residential Program Miami, FL Monte Nido & Affiliates has been delivering treatment for eating disorders for over two decades. Our programs offer a model of treatment that blends medically sophisticated care with a personalized treatment approach. Our work is grounded in evidence-based strategies for adults and adolescents suffering from eating disorders. We work from a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach while integrating state-of-the-art medical, psychiatric, nutritional, and clinical strategies to provide comprehensive care within an intimate home setting. We are seeking a Psychiatrist to work at Monte Nido Miami Residential proram located in Miami, FL. This is a 1099 position with flexible schedules, working 6- 14 hours/week with adults and/or adolescents. #

Responsibilities Include:
Conduct initial Psychiatric evaluations and weekly follow-up sessions to include psychotropic medication management. Maintain current and proper progress notes. Collaborate with the full treatment team as needed and provide patient-specific input for Discharge Planning. Communicate with referring providers and family members as appropriate. Maintain compliance with all standards set by agencies with oversight of this facility.
Qualifications:
Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited program. Board Eligible or Board Certified in General/Adult Psychiatry at minimum; Completion of Child/Adolescent Fellowship preferred. Active and unrestricted Medical License (or license-eligible). Comfort working in both outpatient and inpatient settings is very helpful. Must hold BLS/CPR prior to starting work; we can arrange training if needed. #montenidoaffiliates
