Psychosocial Rehabilitation Supervisor/Therapist Pay starting from: $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience
Job Type:
Full Time Overview To provide administrative and clinical supervision of the Children's Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PR) Program. PR Supervisor Duties Provide clinical and administrative oversight to ensure a high quality, therapeutic psychosocial rehabilitation services for children. Development of a therapeutic curriculum and behavior management system for Pathfinders I and III program. Hiring, training and supervision of full-time PR Coordinator and part time PR Psychosocial Rehabilitation staff serving children and adolescents with behavioral health needs to ensure staff are utilizing strengths-based approach and the program's positive behavior management system in their work with children. Become a certified trainer in the Managing Aggressive Behavior curriculum and provide ongoing training for identified staff. Conduct regular staff meetings, supervision sessions, coaching, and performance evaluations. Ensure services comply with state regulations, Medicaid standards, agency policies, and documentation requirements. Review documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and clinical appropriateness. Support crisis intervention and behavioral stabilization efforts for children experiencing emotional or behavioral crises. Ensure trauma-informed care practices and therapeutic interventions are in line with best practices. Monitoring of program outcomes and implementation of quality improvement initiatives as needed. Communication with parents, guardians, and caregivers regarding child progress and service needs. Ensure a safe, structured, and supportive environment for children participating in services. Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and agency standards. Communicate and collaborate with other agency departments as needed. Assist the Children Services Director with ensuring client and community satisfaction of services. Assist the Children Services Director in ensuring that PR programs operate within budgetary guidelines. Other duties as required. Therapy Duties Provide outpatient therapy services to approximately 5-10 clients. Complete documentation in accordance with agency timelines and policy. Ability to meet client engagement expectations. Participation in after hours on call rotation as a supervisor. Participate in open access rotation. Job Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field. Active licensure or license eligible through the Kansas BSRB (LMLP/LCP, LMSW/LSCSW, LPC/LCPC, LMFT/LCMFT. Independent clinical license preferred. Two (2) supervising direct providers as a QMHP or a minimum of three (3) years of direct clinical experience working with children. Experience with children/adolescents with high behavioral health needs. Familiarity with evidence-based‑ practices aligned with CCBHC service expectations. Successful completion of professional references, background checks, child and adult abuse registry checks, motor vehicle record checks, and pre-employment drug screen. Typical Physical Demands and Working Conditions Individuals in this position will work with multi-disciplinary team in office, school setting, community, and client home environments. Individuals are required to include families and other significant people in planning and treatment when possible. Individuals may expect occasional exposure to communicable diseases and aggressive or violent clients. This position requires sitting for extended periods of time. It may require contact with individuals with communicable diseases. Requires the ability to work under high stress conditions for extended periods of time. Ability to hear normal range of voice, to prepare written reports and to use office equipment and computer software. Spring River Mental Health & Wellness, Inc.
