Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized PT Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support to the Property Manager, handle office tasks efficiently, and assist in ensuring smooth operations within the office at 2 apartment communities in Hillsborough. Property management experience is strongly preferred including management of affordable housing.
Duties:
Answer phones/return calls Interact with prospects and residents Review and enter invoices in property management software Enter rent payments/scan payments Monthly newsletters Late notices Recertification packets Application packets Process applications Assist with recertifications/applications Process annual recertifications Send balance due/credit letters Generate eviction paperwork/represent apartment communities in court Walk property and generate letters (ex. Trash bags in breezeway) Open and close work orders and provide weekly open work order log for manager and maintenance Accompany vendors/contractors to unit when maintenance is not available Call applicants on waitlist/update waitlist Upload leasing documents into software File paperwork into resident files Inspect vacant and occupied units Security deposit dispositions Collect laundry money every month Contact vendors to schedule carpet cleaning, carpet replacement, plumbing needs, electrical needs as instructed by manager/maintenance Deliver notices when maintenance is not available Place orders for maintenance and office supplies as instructed by manager Make sure all equipment has the necessary supplies-paper in the copiers/printers, staples in the stapler, pens, paper towels and soap in kitchens and bathrooms, etc. Pick up supplies as needed Qualifications
