DEFINITION
To enter data into the Learning Lab's TutorTrac System, help students register/enroll for services through the Learning Lab, answer the Front Desk Telephone, help answer student questions regarding the Learning Lab.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED
Receives general supervision from the Coordinator, Learning Lab or either the Computer Facilitator Downtown or Computer Facilitator North Campus. Exercises no supervision. Duties & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
ESSENTIAL AND OTHER IMPORTANT FUNCTIONS STATEMENTS
Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: Greet students as they enter the Learning Lab. Monitor student login/logout process Help students fill out the appropriate forms required to utilize services. Enter data into TutorTrac.
Other Important Functions:
Utilize best practices in customer service. Maintain communication with Learning Lab Management Staff. Adhere to the expectations set forth on the Learning Lab Employee Agreement. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of:
Knowledge of computers Excellent customer service skills Answering phones
Ability To:
Must possess excellent communication skills, especially verbal and listening skills General computer skills required Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work Interpret and apply CFCC goals, objectives, policies, procedures, rules, and regulations Maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception needed for: Making observations Reading and writing Communicating with others Operating assigned equipment Handling varied tasks simultaneously Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities, which may include the following: Standing or sitting for extended periods of time Operating assigned equipment Handling varied tasks simultaneously Maintain mental capacity, which allow the capability of: Making sound decisions Responding to questions Demonstrating intellectual capabilities
