Job Description

The first 3 letters in workplace safety are Y-O-U! TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced PT Project Manager- Service/Repair in Birmingham, AL. Responsible for coordinating activities of project team, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Administers company safety program and training as needed. Coordinates target specific programs and initiatives designed to improve performance within a product line, business unit, or specific project. Assists in training of Branch Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure consistent performance within a product line. Assists Regional Project Manager and Region Vice-Presidents with management/implementation of cost (financial & labor) tracking and reporting system(s) at a project, branch and district level. Assesses operational workflow, resource utilization, technology, and skills to identify efficiency gains. Develops solutions to meet and exceed organizational goals, quality and cost objectives. Coordinates internal resources from the flawless execution of projects. Ensures that all projects are delivered in-time, with scope and within budget. Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility Ensure resource availability and allocation Develop detailed project plan to monitor and track progress Understanding of Oracle and Servigistic programs Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project cost using appropriate verification techniques Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques Report and escalate to management as needed Successfully manage the relationship with all stakeholders Perform risk management to minimize project risks Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and high-quality business updates Work closely with USFO Team on all communication and project performance.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or combination of related experience and education is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of related experience working in the elevator industry. Background in the fields of computer science and engineering preferred. Solid Technical background with understand and/or hands-on experience in the Elevator Industry. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent preferred. Scheduling and budget experience preferred. Proven record of executing and managing successful complex projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Project, SureTrak, or other similar scheduling software and Microsoft Office, with emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint. Oracle experience is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong commitment to teamwork. Ability to managing several projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment. Demonstrated ability and comfort with a variety of evolving responsibilities. Commitment to attainment of financial and/or labor efficiency goals. Team player with strong communication skills. Extensive knowledge of the management and financial aspects of large projects.
