About us Van Rensselaer Manor is the County long term care facility for Rensselaer County. We are seeking a reliable, conscientious person to fill a Part Time Receptionist position. Our goal is to provide the highest level care for our Residents, Staff & Visitors.

• Overview:

• We are seeking a responsible and organized Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with greeting visitors, screening telephone calls, and monitoring building alarm systems, with a focus on providing excellent customer service. The hours are Mon/Tues/ Every other Fri 8a-4p.

• Duties:

• Perform duties at front desk, to include answering telephones, greeting visitors
• Utilize phone systems to manage incoming calls
• Ensure that residents do not leave the main entrance without proper authorization using the established system for resident accountability.

• Requirements:

• Familiarity with front desk operations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
