Public Works Director/Water and Wastewater Operator - Upsala

The City of Upsala seeks a full-time Public Works Director/Water & Wastewater Operator. Duties include operating and maintaining water and wastewater systems, along with routine maintenance of streets, alleys, vehicles, equipment, buildings, and grounds, plus other assigned tasks. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Class B CDL or obtain one within 60 days of hire. Candidates should understand hydraulic, chemical, and mechanical principles related to water treatment operations and maintenance of water and wastewater systems. A Class C Water license and Class D Wastewater license are required, along with basic computer skills for process control.
