Job Description:
  • Corresponds with suppliers and vendors
  • Prepares and send purchase orders for materials and parts from assembly drawings, supplies for manufacturing and for office supplies.
  • Tracks shipments to ensure that goods arrive on schedule and resolve problems related to undelivered or delayed goods.
  • Maintains a minimum of stock in warehouse. Keeps warehouse organized and clean.
  • When materials arrive, check to see that orders are complete and in good condition.
  • Matches invoices to purchase orders using JobBOSS software.
  • Distribute parts to manufacturing. May also assemble some parts.
  • Try to find the lower cost materials while maintaining the quality of our products.
  • Counts inventory when requested and update inventory prices with current pricing
  • Fills customer orders and corresponds with customers.
  • Shipping products and parts via UPS, Federal Express and truck freight companies.
  • Pick up parts from local vendors as necessary.
  • Drop off parts to local customers or shipping locations as necessary.
  • Other duties as needed
Qualifications:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365
  • Knowledge of JobBOSS
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at a time
  • Self-motivated and dedicated to meeting expectations of internal and external customers
  • Valid drivers license and ability to obtain a chauffeur license This position reports to the General Manager.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, crouch, talk, hear, taste, smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
