JOB OVERVIEW
- The Purchasing Agent is responsible for executing tactical purchasing activities for assigned vendors, products or services.
RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
- Essential Duties
- As a part of the Sunrise team, supporting our Mission, Principles of Service and Core Values is a fundamental part of this job. Our foundational belief is the sacred value of human life. The unique responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to the essential functions listed as follows:
- Bids and Program Implementation
- + Assist with solicitation of vendor Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
- Formulary Management
- + Manage, maintain, and keep current all supplier formularies to support Sunrise standards while meeting resident needs by working with vendors, manufacturers, e-commerce partners, GPOs, and communities.
- Service Scope Management
- + Manage, maintain, and keep current vendor service scopes to support Sunrise standards while meeting resident needs, including identifying gaps and updating contracts as needed.
- Vendor Relationship Management
- + Resolve reports of vendor performance deficiencies from communities and corporate or field personnel.
- Additional Responsibilities
- + Communicate regularly with Sunrise communities, Operations, Accounts Payable, General Ledger Accounting, and Information Technology. + Maintain compliance in assigned required training and all training required by state/province or other regulating authorities as applicable to this role to ensure that Sunrise standards are always met. + Perform other duties as assigned.
