Manufacturing Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant Clerk to support our procurement operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to work under pressure, meets deadlines consistently, and maintains a professional and positive attitude.Key Responsibilities Procurement Support:
Assist in tracking and processing purchase orders, ensuring alignment with company needs, budgets, and procurement strategiesInventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records, assist with stock counts, and support cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracyOrder Processing:
Process and verify purchase orders, ensuring correct specifications, pricing, and delivery schedulesReporting:
Prepare and maintain purchasing reports to support management decision-makingData Entry & Systems Management:
Accurately input and manage data in ERP systems and spreadsheets, including purchases, receipts, and returnsCross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with finance, logistics, and operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfillmentIssue Resolution:
Address discrepancies related to orders, deliveries, or inventory, and resolve issues promptlyCompliance & Quality Control:
Ensure all purchasing activities follow company policies, budgets, and quality standardsVendor Coordination:
Communicate with suppliers to confirm pricing, track orders, arrange deliveries, and ensure compliance with agreementsProduction Floor Support:
Review and verify information on the production floor when needed to support purchasing and inventory accuracyTask Ownership:
Take responsibility for assigned tasks, ensuring timely completion and proper follow-up on all purchasing activities Required Qualifications Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative support is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience with ERP or purchasing systems preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional demeanor with a positive attitude Preferred Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing or production environment Familiarity with supply chain processes and best practices Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team Work Environment Full-time, on-site position in Opa-locka, and Doral, FL.
