If that sounds like you, keep reading. Rock River Homes is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to support the daily operations of our Purchasing department. This role is a critical part of keeping homes moving forward behind the scenes by helping ensure purchase orders, invoices, pricing, and purchasing records are accurate, organized, and properly reconciled. This is a role for someone who likes structure, consistency, and the satisfaction of getting things right - and who will follow up until an issue is closed.

What You'll Be Doing:

Reconciling invoices against purchase orders, pricing, quantities, and job details Identifying discrepancies between invoices, POs, estimates, and vendor information Processing purchase orders and invoices once details are verified Helping coordinate corrections with vendors and internal teams Following up on unresolved invoice or PO issues until they are closed Keeping purchasing records organized and current Communicating with vendors and internal teams by email and phone when needed Assist in maintaining pricing accuracy and vendor information within company systems The Kind of Person Who Will Thrive in

This Role:

Detail-oriented without needing to be micromanaged Naturally organized Comfortable with repetitive tasks that require accuracy Good at following processes while still thinking critically Professional and clear in communication The type of person who likes finishing what they start Comfortable asking questions, following up, and being politely persistent when something needs to be corrected Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized with multiple moving pieces throughout the day This role involves a lot of computer work and managing detailed information throughout the day. There are deadlines, moving pieces, and multiple priorities - but the work is structured and process-driven. The right person will not find that draining. They will find it satisfying.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in purchasing, accounts payable, administrative support, or construction operations preferred Experience working with invoices, purchase orders, or vendor coordination is a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer systems Experience in residential homebuilding is beneficial but not required About Rock River Homes Rock River Homes is a growing residential homebuilder serving communities across Virginia and expanding into North Carolina.
