Purchasing Manager 1832 River Road, Johns Island, SC 29455 Full-time Full-time Classic Remodeling & Construction, Inc. is a design-build remodeling firm located in Charleston, SC. We specialize exclusively in high-end, residential remodeling with projects ranging from kitchens and bathrooms to additions, whole house remodels, and outdoor spaces. We are seeking qualified individuals for the role of Purchasing Manager. The Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing all purchasing, vendor coordination, material tracking, accounts payable, subcontractor compliance, and company technology/equipment management. This role ensures materials are ordered accurately, delivered on schedule, and properly distributed to job sites while maintaining financial accuracy through invoice processing, coding, and subcontractor payments. The Purchasing Manager plays a critical role in supporting efficient project execution and maintaining organized warehouse, vendor, and operational systems. Duties & Responsibilities Order all materials for projects, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, tile, hardware, and specialty items. Review vendor reports and monitor product availability, lead times, and backorders. Track all purchased materials from order placement through delivery to final job site. Coordinate with expeditors to ensure timely delivery of materials to job sites. Receive and review deliveries for accuracy and damage when applicable. Maintain organization and inventory control within the warehouse. Manage all company accounts payable, including receipt, review, coding, and processing of invoices. Code all receipts, invoices, and payments accurately for accounting purposes. Process weekly subcontractor payments and ensure proper billing/coding prior to payment. Maintain subcontractor compliance records, including insurance certificates, agreements, and other required documentation. Ensure all subcontractors have current and complete paperwork on file prior to payment/work authorization. Manage company phones and related operating systems/software. Coordinate procurement, and setup of new company phones and devices for employees. Maintain records of company-issued devices and assist with troubleshooting/basic technology support as needed. Work closely with accounting, production, and project management teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and purchasing issues. Assist with maintaining organized purchasing records and documentation for all projects. Job Skills & Abilities Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred 3-5+ years of purchasing, procurement, accounts payable, or related experience preferred Strong understanding of purchasing processes, vendor management, and accounts payable procedures Experience managing company devices/technology systems preferred Excellent organizational and time management skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Sage Contractor 100 is a bonus Proficiency in accounting/project management software and Microsoft Excel We are a pet friendly office, liking dogs is a must Ability to lift 100 pounds
