We specialize in R D projects, repairs, modifications, prototypes and production runs. We machine a variety of metals including aluminum, copper, stainless steel and other metals as well as plastics from Delrin to ABS. Accelerated Tooling provides fast, friendly, service to a wide spectrum of, automation, food, beverage, furniture, and auto companies as well as many other industries. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Manager based in Wyoming, MI. The Purchasing Manager will oversee procurement operations, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the on-time delivery of high-quality materials. Additional responsibilities include analyzing market trends, coordinating with internal teams to forecast needs, and ensuring compliance with company policies and budgetary guidelines. Qualifications Strong procurement and negotiation skills with experience in sourcing quality materials and managing vendor relationships Proficiency in supply chain management, inventory management, and logistics coordination Experience with data analysis, forecasting, and financial planning for procurement activities Effective communication, collaboration, and cross-functional team coordination skills Familiarity with manufacturing and tooling industries is preferred, with knowledge of JobBoss 2 and QuickBooks being advantageous Proven ability to meet deadlines, manage priorities, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
