Cincinnati, OH - 2-day onsite (Tuesday & Thursday)
Primary Skills :
P&C Insurance Responsibilities Design and implement data testing strategies to ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity across systems. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for ETL and data validation. Perform source-to-target validation by analyzing mappings and verifying data across source systems, staging, and target layers. Validate data transformations, aggregations, and business rule implementations within ETL pipelines. Conduct data reconciliation and migration testing across legacy and modern data platforms. Analyze data anomalies, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with data engineers and developers to resolve issues. Test and validate ETL workflows, ensuring correct data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. Develop and maintain automated data testing frameworks using SQL, Python, or similar technologies. Implement data quality checks and controls aligned with key metrics (accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness). Perform regression testing to ensure system changes do not impact existing data pipelines. Validate BI reports and dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.) against source data. Ensure adherence to quality standards, processes, and best practices throughout the testing lifecycle. Collaborate with Agile teams to support sprint deliverables and continuous integration efforts .
Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 10-12 years of experience in QA with a strong focus on ETL/data testing. Strong expertise in SQL for data validation and analysis. Solid understanding of ETL processes and data validation techniques. Experience in data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas). Proficiency in test automation for data validation using Python, SQL, or similar tools. Experience with data platforms and tools such as: Snowflake,Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, IDMC Familiarity with big data environments and handling large-scale datasets. Hands-on experience with BI testing (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.). Prior experience in P&C insurance domain (Policy, Claims, Reinsurance). Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (Jira, HP ALM, etc.). Working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins). Understanding data quality frameworks and metrics. Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Experience working in Agile environments with onsite-offshore collaboration models. Good to

Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, ICP or Agile certifications are desirable. Experience in Marklogic testing and API testing
