Position Summary The Quality Assurance Investigator is responsible for assessing program compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as agency policies and procedures. This role provides training and technical assistance to program staff related to incident management and quality assurance, and conducts timely, thorough investigations of all reportable incidents, including abuse and neglect.
Essential Accountabilities Regulatory Compliance:
Conduct site visits, review documentation, and provide guidance to ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency requirements.
Incident Management:
Investigate reportable incidents in accordance with regulatory timelines to ensure safety, accountability, and policy adherence.
Site Standards:
Support programs in maintaining safe, organized, and compliant environments.
Training Oversight:
Review and verify staff training records to ensure completion of all required trainings.
Collaboration:
Partner with program staff, management, and leadership to communicate findings, address concerns, and implement corrective actions.
Training & Technical Assistance:
Deliver training and ongoing support to strengthen compliance and improve service quality.
Multi-Site Support:
Travel as needed to support and monitor multiple program locations.
Communication:
Maintain clear, consistent communication with stakeholders to promote continuous improvement and high-quality care.

Qualifications Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred; excellent platform and communication skills. Experience in conducting investigations. Experience in conducting quality audits in a Medicaid funded environment. Knowledge of
OPWDD/OMH/DOH/CMS
regulations and all aspects of incident management. Must have access to a vehicle and a valid NYS driver's license. Must be able to travel in 5 boroughs and Long Island. Share job details to
