Job Description

YOUR PROJECT ASSIGNMENT TEICON ENGINEERING
is currently hiring for a large-scale industrial process plant construction project in Beaumont-Port Arthur metropolitan area. We are seeking site-based professionals for immediate engagement to support active execution activities within a complex industrial environment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and coordinate QA/QC and site quality activities within an industrial process plant construction environment, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, inspection and test plans, and applicable codes and regulations. Perform inspections and monitor construction and prefabrication activities to ensure compliance with relevant standards and codes such as
ASME B31.3, ASME BPVC, ISO
standards, and client-specific quality requirements. Coordinate closely with Contractors, Site Superintendents, Clients, inspection authorities, and multidisciplinary construction teams to ensure proper execution of quality-related activities and effective interface management. Participate in pre-inspection meetings, kick-off meetings, audits, quality walk-downs, and regular construction quality meetings with Contractors, Clients, and inspection authorities. Monitor and witness inspections and testing activities according to approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), verify specified testing scopes, and follow up quality-related punch items and corrective actions. Review Contractors' quality documentation, procedures, qualifications, inspection reports, test reports, and material documentation, including Material Test Certificates (MTCs), to ensure compliance with project requirements. Monitor the implementation of quality management systems and tools on site, including Construction Management Systems, NCR databases, audit databases, and completion management processes. Support site management and construction teams in resolving quality-related issues, identifying deficiencies, and implementing corrective and preventive actions in a structured and proactive manner. Verify calibration and certification status of measuring and testing equipment and monitor inspections of incoming materials and equipment. Ensure compliance with project-specific HSE requirements, report unsafe conditions immediately, and actively promote safe working practices and quality awareness on site. Support completion activities, final walk-downs, punch management, final documentation, and handover processes in preparation for commissioning and project close-out. Track progress, quality status, risks, and open issues and provide structured reporting and professional documentation to site management and project stakeholders. Handover System Owner with experience reading and working with P&IDs.
YOUR PROFILE
You have a completed technical education or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Welding Engineering, Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical field, or you are a qualified technical tradesperson with strong QA/QC and site supervision experience in industrial projects. You have several years of hands-on experience in QA/QC, quality supervision, or site quality management within industrial process plant construction projects, ideally in Hydrogen Plants, Air Separation Units, Fired Heater projects, or comparable heavy industrial environments. You have strong knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes in industrial construction environments and are experienced in inspections, testing, quality documentation, and contractor surveillance activities. You are familiar with international construction and quality standards, including
ASME BPVC
Section V and
IX, ASME B31.3, ISO
3834, and related industrial quality regulations. Ideally, you hold qualifications such as International Welding Engineer (IWE), welding technician certification, NDT RT Level II interpretation, or comparable technical certifications relevant to industrial QA/QC activities. You have practical experience with completion management, punch management, piping pressure test packages, audits, inspections, and final construction documentation. You are confident in reviewing technical drawings, specifications, procedures, inspection reports, and construction quality documentation. You have solid experience working with Contractors, inspection authorities, Clients, and multicultural construction teams in a fast-paced site environment. You are experienced in working with quality management databases and digital construction systems and have strong knowledge of MS Excel as well as advanced knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Teams, and OneNote. You demonstrate a proactive mindset, a strong sense of accountability, and a clear commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork on site. You communicate clearly and professionally in English, both spoken and written, and you are confident in participating in and leading meetings with Contractors and project stakeholders. You are willing and able to work on site in the United States for the full project duration, including extended working hours if required. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
