In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards through precise dimensional inspection, advanced CMM programming, and rigorous quality control processes. Your technical proficiency and attention to detail will directly contribute to the production of top-tier components and assemblies, supporting our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge measurement technology and collaborate with cross-functional teams dedicated to quality assurance. Responsibilities Develop, validate, and execute CMM programs using PC-DMIS or Calypso software to perform detailed dimensional inspections of complex parts and assemblies. Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) accurately, ensuring precise measurement data collection aligned with engineering specifications. Conduct thorough quality inspections utilizing precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators to verify conformance to blueprint requirements. Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to assess part compliance against design intent. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify root causes of non-conformances and implement corrective actions in accordance with ISO 9001, AS9100, and
ISO 13485
standards. Maintain detailed inspection records, calibration logs, and quality documentation in compliance with ASME codes & standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing measurement data trends and recommending process enhancements for better quality control. Requirements Proven experience in quality control within manufacturing environments, specifically involving machining or precision manufacturing processes. Strong proficiency in CMM programming using PC-DMIS or Calypso software; experience with Schematics and CAD tools such as SolidWorks is highly desirable. Knowledge of industry standards including
AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ASME
codes & standards, along with a solid understanding of GD&T principles. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately; familiarity with CNC machining processes is a plus. Mechanical aptitude combined with experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, dial indicators, and other tooling. Familiarity with calibration procedures for mechanical and electronic measurement devices; understanding of metrology best practices. Strong math skills for dimensional analysis and data interpretation; ability to troubleshoot measurement discrepancies effectively. Excellent communication skills for collaborating across departments and documenting inspection results clearly.
