Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Qmhp (Qualified Mental Health Professional) to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals seeking mental health support. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based care, develop personalized treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote recovery and well-being. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a positive environment where clients feel empowered and supported on their journey toward mental health stability. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate clients' needs, strengths, and goals. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aligned with best practices and client preferences. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including counseling, psychoeducation, and crisis management. Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers, case managers, families, and community resources to coordinate care. Maintain accurate, timely documentation of client progress, treatment activities, and compliance with regulatory standards. Educate clients on coping strategies, medication management (if applicable), and available community resources. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery. Skills Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and crisis intervention techniques. Excellent communication skills to build trust and rapport with diverse populations. Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative relationships within a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate approach combined with active listening skills to understand clients' unique experiences. Proficiency in documentation software and electronic health records systems. Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and organizational priorities. Relevant licensure or certification as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (Qmhp) or equivalent credential required; additional certifications in trauma-informed care or substance use treatment are a plus.
