Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate clients' needs, strengths, and goals. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aligned with best practices and client preferences. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including counseling, psychoeducation, and crisis management. Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers, case managers, families, and community resources to coordinate care. Maintain accurate, timely documentation of client progress, treatment activities, and compliance with regulatory standards. Educate clients on coping strategies, medication management (if applicable), and available community resources. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery. Skills Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and crisis intervention techniques. Excellent communication skills to build trust and rapport with diverse populations. Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative relationships within a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate approach combined with active listening skills to understand clients' unique experiences. Proficiency in documentation software and electronic health records systems. Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and organizational priorities. Relevant licensure or certification as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (Qmhp) or equivalent credential required; additional certifications in trauma-informed care or substance use treatment are a plus.
