Quad axle dump trucker driver

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Quad Axle Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic. In this vital role, you will operate a heavy-duty quad axle dump truck to transport and deliver materials efficiently across construction sites. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries, safe operations, and smooth project progress. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects while showcasing your skills in heavy equipment operation and construction logistics. You will work as an independent contractor. Duties Safely operate a quad axle dump truck to haul materials such as gravel, dirt, and stone aggregates to various sites. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring all mechanical components are in optimal condition. Coordinate with site supervisors and project managers to determine delivery schedules and routes for maximum efficiency. Assist with the loading and unloading of materials using equipment like excavators, loaders, backhoes, or graders when necessary. Maintain accurate delivery logs, inspection reports, and vehicle maintenance records. Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure safe transportation on public roads and construction zones. Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery status, site conditions, or any operational issues. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. At least 2 years of quad axle dump truck experience is preferred Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as dump trucks in a construction environment (mostly but not limited to). Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery and vehicle maintenance procedures. Familiarity with construction site operations Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety standards and protocols. Physical stamina to handle long hours of driving and manual tasks associated with loading/unloading operations of a quad axle dump truck Ability to operate a manual speed transmission will be paid accordingly.
