Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a stimulating environment that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies to create a positive learning atmosphere. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or special education needs. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and childcare staff to ensure high-quality instructional delivery and classroom management. Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor student progress and tailor lesson plans accordingly. Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student assessments, attendance, and incident reports in compliance with licensing requirements. Experience Proven classroom management experience in preschool or early childhood education settings. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across various domains such as literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori techniques. Experience working with children of diverse backgrounds, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, staff, and community partners. Prior experience in daycare or private school environments is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in childcare. Familiarity with classroom experience involving toddlers care, standardized testing procedures, tutoring techniques, and behavior management strategies is highly desirable.
