Description:
MEG 2 is a custom chemical processor with expertise in various distillation technologies, pastillation, blending, reaction chemistry purification and heat transfer fluids. We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance and Inventory Coordinator in our Troy, IN location. What is a Quality Assurance and Inventory Coordinator? The Quality Assurance and Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring, documenting and controlling the quality of materials needed to Produce Antifreeze. This position will work with both the Plant and Warehouse for quality of our products that will support site compliance with ISP standards in EG supply and documentation. This position will also involve managing labels that are used in the production of antifreeze. What do I have to do? Ensuring and documenting the manufacturing and fill lines are meeting or exceeding the specifications provided while producing products ISO certification support as an internal auditor ISO Management of EG streams for warehouse, quality and specifications of antifreeze Communicate changes needed to the operators and/or stop production based on out-of-specification results Document different findings and organize records Manage labels via purchases, storage, inventory counts, preservation and usage in the daily production of antifreeze packaged in gallon jugs. Assist in label changeovers as time permits. Training and/or assisting employees at various work stations by training how to produce a quality product in a safe manner. What Benefits do you offer? Requirements:
Do I have to have experience? Required Minimum of 2 years experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Products - Word , Excel, Outlook Excellent communication skills - verbal and written Strong Organizational skills Preferred Forklift driving experience Basic knowledge of chemistry or specialty chemicals Chemical manufacturing and packaging experience EOE
