Job Description

We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Certification Engineer to join our Irvine, PA facility. ENS operates a fully integrated steelmaking process, including a scrap yard, electric arc furnace, ladle furnace, vacuum tank degasser, vacuum oxygen decarburization unit, teeming bay, annealing furnaces, and shipping operations. You'll play a key role in driving improvements across this complex and dynamic operation. What You'll Do Work with Sales, Quality and Production Teams to certify Customer product to specified industrial standards and assist with maintaining ENS Quality Assurance Manual Key responsibilities include: Responsible for final certifications of product quality Manages available resources to ensure the efficiency of the certifications process Has authority to disposition product Assists with maintaining the company library of compliance resources, including, but not limited to, standards and requirements of interested parties Develop and document relevant manufacturing instructions Assist with ensuring that all company quality policies, procedures, and work instructions are documented in a clear, simple and concise manner Assists with maintaining Quality Assurance Manual Assist with conducting internal/external audits and documents corrective actions, Assist with providing support and training as required to ensure compliance with established procedures What You Bring Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred; OR minimum 3 years of experience in steel or heavy industry with relevant education Demonstrated in-depth understanding of industry standards (AMS, ASTM) Demonstrated ability to problem solve Strong computer skills Demonstrated ability to effectively collect, and analyze data to derive applicable information Ability to work outside of normal work hours to meet business needs including travel if deemed necessary Excellent verbal and written communication skills Valid driver's license Why Build Your Career at ENS?
